We love DVF's full skirts. They are the kind of garments you can just leave in. Pair them with a basic teeshirt (we prefer them tucked in and belted) and you can face just about any situation. We personally own two of them and we promise you we find them in heavy rotation no matter where we are.

We have never quite understood the allure of the bathing suit. We try to get excited about fancy styles and we admit to even lusting after an Eres suit or two, but when it comes down to it we mostly just want a basic suit that gets us into the pool fastest. Which makes us enormous fans of American Apparel's swimwear. We have spent most of our life in just this suit (well ok maybe just the bottom, let's hear it for SoBe letting you go topless wherever) and you know what? We think it did the job just fine.

Fine eyewear is a controversial subject now that most brands are produced en masse by giant license driven conglomerates. But there are plenty of fine vintage finds to be found at
Silver Lining in SoHo. We stole a pair of vintage Ray Ban's from our boyfriend for our trip to South Beach and boy did that work out for us well.

We picked up a cream confection from Lorick today at the Save Fashion sample sale. We were attracted to her girly silhouettes but it was the cream basics for summer that really sold us. Its sugar and spice and everything nice.
